CWL in Top 10 Airports of the World!

http://www.cwl.aero/default.asp

Who would have guessed it! I don’t know how they’ve got in 2 consecutive years as on a world basis it seems to be shrinking with less routes from baby and MYT operating on a summer only basis from next year. If it was a regional award I can understand with all the expansion from Air Wales, but world? They’ll be celebrating tonight, because if they can get in now then surely they’ll move up even higher with the new rail link opening next spring. good luck to em!!! 😀

I guess you’d expect a high percentage of UK airports to get in the top 10 if they only survey UK citizens.

Hmm 1. Changi, 2. Kuala Lumpur, 3. Dubai, 4. AMS, 5. CWL…….and EMA, NCL, MAN and STN also in the top ten. Not sure everyone would agree. Ryanair was voted worst lo-cost airline. O’Leary to ban telegraph on his planes?

“More than 26,000 questionnaires were sent to The Daily and The Sunday Telegraph readers who voted for their best airports, airlines and tour operators.”

I guess you’d expect a high percentage of UK airports to get in the top 10 if they only survey UK citizens.

Just found out that BRS didn’t get in! Hows that then? They are so close to each other an BRS outclasses CWL in every respect and handles more than double CWLs passenger numbers, yet it didn’t get in! I’m not complaining, I just find this very odd.
