A few 727 pictures and the ugliest livery ever

I haven’t posted any new pictures in a while but I did see some interesting aircraft this week so I fired up the camera again. Work had me down in Miami briefly and I realize this is where old airliners go to die. I didn’t get pictures of a lot of them but it was a sea of 727’s, DC-8’s, DC-9’s, DC-10’s, etc.

Here are a few of the 727’s that were parked across from our gate. I don’t know where Falcon Air goes to but these they operated ex-Continental 727’s. The Aeropostal company is new to me as well.

I like the BWIA livery personally.
The 727’s do have an ugly livery I agree. The Air Tran looks good aswell.

Nice pics, but the livery of BWI is strange indeed.

I didn’t know Air Tran had any 737’s, i thought they were an all 717 fleet

they recently ordered a bunch of them, using the first delivered 737 to launch a new livery

Nice shots WD. Nice to see some pics of some 727’s – something that we dont see to often on here. I have to say that the BWIA livery, in my opinion, looks better on the bigger aircraft. Its always a welcome feature here in the UK, and as T5 says it does truely brighten up a dull day.

Thanks for sharing your pictures with us. 🙂

He only lurks. He is not registered and does not seem to want to contribute to the forum.

He seems to have gotten it right for the airline no matter what some of us may think. Personally I would have at least dropped the yellow.
