What's wrong with 9G-AND/9G-ANE?

Came across this list from the DFT. Ghana Airways it seems is OK but not two DC-10s?

I don’t think any of those countries have airlines capable of getting anywhere near the UK 😀

There were serious concerns over the DC10 fleet. These were the last two operational, and were similarly refused by the USA. To refuse Ghana Airways would not be in the UK’s best interest, as a new company trading as Ghana Airways is operating flights between Ghana and LGW/DUS using chartered aircraft.

That explains…the other airlines in the list must be peeved.?
