Introduction

Hi folks! My name is Rudi and I have been watching airliners since I was about 10 in 1974 (probably my earliest memory of airliners is seing and Aeroflot Tu104 at Heathrow). Both my home and my work are fairly close to the flightpath into Heathrow so I get to see some interesting items from time to time. I visit all the London airports occasionally, but really enjoy spotting abroad. My last trip was by train, visiting Brussels, Liege, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt. I’m not a photographer but I certainly appreciate those who are. I’ll report on any interesting planes I see and will hopefully be able to give an answer to some of the question that crop up. I’m a bit of a novice with forums so please bear with me if I don’t get it right to begin with!
