CO where always saying GLA is one of there best routs and they where looking at upgrading it again then the SE got involved and we sudenly had a cut back. A national embarisment the Scottish Executive is to Scotland! Give power back to London a real capital city.
Again more hearsay
Written proof please from an impartial source.

6 daily?! 😮 and I don’t think so, it’s the airlines who naturally want to reduce capacity over the winter like at other airports, EDI, MAN etc

Funny you mention that.
MY grapevine just fed me a little snippet of info pertaining to CO’s plans to operate a second 757 service into EDI as of summer 2005. Apparently the idea is still up in the air and needs to be discussed further before any decision is made.
At any rate we all know that CO are very happy with the loads in and out of EDI.
A second EDI flight will cut down a lot of EWR layover times.

I thought EDI had a daily 757 service except a short time in the winter ?
It does, and I don’t think GLA is daily either, 6x weekly for winter.
Sorry GLA767.
