Libya plans to buy 24 new aircraft worth USD$1.5 billion to renew the fleet of flag carrier Libyan Arab Airlines, the company’s chief executive said. Hussein Dabnoun said the airline wants planes from both Airbus and Boeing, including Airbus A330s and Boeing 777s.

I would love to see this happen. The Libyan airlines colours would look great on either aircraft. I think it could be awhile though before we see it happen?
I dont think it will take too long. Libya has been behaving as demanded by the international community so most of the embargo has been lifted and what’s left of the embargo will go soon.

I remember seeing the A300 they were using a while back on the LHR route. And whilst out in Malta i was Luckily enough to see one of the F-28’s they have.
