They stagger it to avoid overloading the system. It usually works out over a week or less they have routed from london spread over the whole days then for example one day belfast routes come online, another bristol and on another newcastle etc.

easyjet tend to annouce routes around 2X of December. Jet2, im told by an insider, havent taken as many bookings for 2005 as they would have wished and are thinking about not putting on sale tickets for Winter 05 until around May/June when most airlines do. Nothing offical to confirm that mind

I’ve already booked mytravellite flights from BHX to FAO for next August at a VERY reasonable price 🙂

How reasonable is reasonable?

With my easyJet flights that I booked today, I paid £30.98 return. When I check the price again at about 6.00pm (5 hours later), they had gone up by £15 each! 😮

Traditionally, easyJet start selling the summer seats around Christmas time. I’ve not known it to be as early as the start of November. They usually announce a bundle of routes at a time and not all at once nowadays. I usually book my seats for Easter to Scotland when they go on sale at Christmas time. Join their e-mail news thingy and you should find out by e-mail a day or two in advance.

Don’t they start taking bookings from 1 November or something?

With regard to easyJet, can someone just also let me know whether or not LGW is an all-A319 base for the airline?
