Ansett Australia Now at STN

I am sure that this is probably a common sight elsewhere, but a former Ansett 737 still in full colours, apart from a Jet2 fwd cabin & lower cargo door, has just landed at Stansted. The aircraft is G-CELA.
Well I was excited anyway 😀

I think you’re right Michael. Still, it’s the best time of the year to do it then it’s in service when they need the extra capacity.

Looking a little messy!

This QC conversion is where an aircraft can be converted from a passenger aircraft to cargo in minutes, isn’t it? Aren’t the seats screwed onto pallets and, allowing them to be easily removed at any time?

This a/c (GCELA) was suposed to go to TLV today (30 Sep) for a QC convertion. It’s not due to enter service with Jet2 until spring 05

Long time not revenue raising.?
