Ryanairs screaming 732s

How long have the FR 737-200s for this world. Although I am not a fan of the airline or its boss, I am thinking of flying with them LBA_DUB in order to have one last ride on the 737-200, the aircraft of my childhood holidays.

My partner and I would probably stay overnight in Dublin before returning home. I would never fly Ryanair for any journey over an hour and never to start or end a holiday, but I may fly them and try them and all for the love of the 737-2.

The 732s have been in the fleet since 1994.I flew on 1 of the first ones LPL-DUB it was a BAc111 on the way out.I live very close to DUB so its great to hear them and Ill miss them when they go.I dont think id go on one because I had a dream a few months ago where i got on one and it crashed. It was the Kilkenny logojet in that dream.LOL All those 738s are very boring and so are the EI A320s.If your coming to Dublin bring plenty of spending money.

I think you would be very unlucky not to get a 732 in November. With a bit of luck you might get a logo jet, the Hertz a/c seems to be in at LBA alot at the mo.

Will it be the 732 in Nov. My boyf has booked us LBA-DUB-LBA. We will stay overnight so we can have a night out. Hes booked a nice hotel to compenstae for me not getting a meal on the plane, haha.

It will be a first FR flight for me, we will have to wait and see. I am not going to be snobby about it as I am going on a proper holiday next week, so this will be a nice cheapo break for us before crimbo. Pity we not going at the same time LBARulkes, we could end our little feud and become mates maybe, give each other a hug.

Im going on Ryanair to DUB in Feb as you can see from my signature. Apparantly they are due for withdrawl in March, so I might just get one.

The boarding is Parents with small children first, and then numbers 1-65.

I arent the biggest fan of Ryanair, but they do their job and they get you there quickly.

I was amazed when I looked to book my DUB flights, on exactly the same dates, LBA-DUB-LBA was £29.99 each way plus taxes yet MAN-DUB-MAN was 99P and £3.99 and you get more time in Dublin with the Manchester flights!

Youve just missed out on the free flight sale I think unfortunately 🙁

hehe, well have a good time when/if you go and make the most of being on a B737-200, that was the 1st plane I ever went on and the take-off was amazing! Just like the B757-200 but the 737 was louder!:D

Im a big kid, wonder if that counts! Well, I think I will try them. I wont have any expectations and it will purely be to get on the 732, although we will probably stay overnight and have a booze-up out on the town.

Well, when I went there me and my dad sat on one row and my two brothers sat on the row infront as there wasnt enough room for both of them on our row so it turned out OK. Oh, and at Dublin when I was getting on the plane for the way back all the children (and their parents) got to go on the aircraft 1st…dunno why though! hehe

Thanks. How does the no-seat number thing work. Im not fussy, Ill sit anywhere as long as my boyf can sit next to me ,as I am,after all these years, still quite nervy and like to have whoever I am travelling with next to me.

They still have abit of life in some of them i reckon, one went into MAN today and there’s no sign of their new B738s here yet. I went on one to Dublin, it was a good service! Hope that helps,

MANAIRPORTMAD!!
