just look at the artificial horizon, the plane is not nearly going as steep as the photo implies

It seems to be a rather normal decent. The airspeed is only a bit over 110 knots with less than 5 degrees nose down pitch. I would guess the VSI is somewhere in the vicinity of 1000 fpm.

Well Binter is surely flying an intersting style. I have watched them doing their rounds on Gran Canaria (LPA) and I must say that some of their approaches ashamed the local Spanish air force transports.

What a beautiful view. TFN is a notoriusly dissicult airport to get in and out of. The sight of so many horrible tradgedies. Thoise mountains may have been the last thing passengers on G-BDAN saw before hitting terrain. Very sad!
