A pic of 3 Concorde’s on the ground at the same time outwith their Home Base or their manufacturers airfield, any other airfield see a sight like this? 😉

I “think” Liverpool also saw 3 at a time on a couple of occasions for the grand national charters – i have deffinatly seen 2 on the ground, and poss pics of 3 at once.

The DC10s looked good too, but the B747s were downright spectacular.

3 concorde. 30 August 1983, inauguration of the Super Shuttle (G-BOAA, G-BOAB, G-BOAD)

The CP-air DC-8 looks like it was taken at Prestwick, pity it isn’t in colour.

I know 🙁 The c/s for the time was excellent, a sort of blood red and orange fuselage band with a polished aluninium lower fuselage, excellent.

Yep it was GLA alright, I ahem… “had” the day off school to go and seem them, remember it well. 😀

I’m surprised you didn’t recognise the BAMG hangar in the shot Matthew. (lol). And yes you could see something like 2 or 3 AF and BA Concordes at the same time in JFK most days.

The only airport in the world to regularly see both operators types in the same place. (sniff)
