When you are looking through the destinations on jet2.com, you can pick Ibiza. Now there is no timetable and no flights avaliable yet. I read on Pprune that when the Britannia IBZ flight was heavily delayed last week, the boss of Jet2 said come fly my airline next year so it appears he wasnt joking! Anyone know when this route will be announced?

Yes indeed, good news they are filling the void left by the charters. Cant see it been a daily service though? Maybe Tuesday,Thursday and Saturday Evening? I dont know.

I dont know when it will be officially anoounced, but at least Jet2 appear to be filling the void which is been left by some of the charters, but then again some of the charter routes may be being dropped because of Jet2s entry into the market.
However i am sure this route will be another winner, and the total number of seats provided on the service will be greater than the capacity lost to the charters.
Maybe some more continental destinations for us next – Cologne would be nice please!!
