According to Pprune (Again not the most reliable source I know), a 762 was covering for a 763 on the flight to Porlamar, but apparantly went tech in Porlamar, the Kos flight was meant to be operated by this 762, but 189 pax were put on a 738 the rest are stranded at MAN, and the LCA flight still hasnt gone which was meant to be operated by the 762 this dinner time!

I know thats what you meant, thats why I said, has Venuezuela been involved in the hurricanes? Grey Area was just joking with his comment. That flight is now due in at 01:00 tomorrow morning.

Some other terrible Excel delays today:

XLA2115 07:20 KOS EXPECTED 18:45
XLA2027 08:55 RHODES EXPECTED 13 SEPT 07:55.

Ive read on Pprune that the reason for these delays is that Air Atlanta have got no flight crew to fly these flights!

I was stuck on the bloody thing too. The delay was due to a faulty oil pressure valve in the engine. We had to wait for a new one to be flown down from the u.k. Bit of a long day out. 😡

MYT388 ALICANTE 1230 INDEFINITE DELAY

Im just glad that MYT are on the ball this year and have got another a/c straight in to operate the later flights, theres even rumours on the LBA board that it could of been a Jet2 733 operating a flight ?
