A300/310 and B767

Are these still being made? I cant remember the last order for the 300/10 and recall hearing stories about the 767 line being salvaged by the us govt tanker deal until it was reviewed – BTW what was the outcome of that deal?

I know this is an easy question but in confuses me how these aircraft are still on their respective manufacturers websites

Yea think you’re right about no further A310’s being built.

Oy yes sorry of course I mean they have -300’s that look like -200’s with only two doors.

My friend went on one recently from AMS-YYC.

Yes and Martinair is another with 762’s with only two doors!

All Martinairs 767s are ‘300s.

The 5 outstanding orders for the A310 are from Iraqi Airways aren’t then?

I think it’s safe to say there will be no further deliveries of the A310…

yeah i know lol but matt was referring to the BY fleet.
Yes many -300 have the same as the -200 like shown in this pic
http://www.airliners.net/open.file/657937/M/
But is still quite noticable that its longer than the -200 😀

However many 300s have 2 overwing exits too, just to confuse things!

no prob mate just helpin ya out.
To be honest though the -200 looks actually really small and stubby in length compaired to the -300, inside there is no difference its still a 2-4-2 config but just smaller cabin length.

Just little things like to doors make it easyier to spot 😛

I may well be a spotter but I reckon theres not much diffrence on the 762 and the 763, now I have never been on one so I dont know inside, but when Im planespotting at MAN and a Britannia B767 comes in I dont have a clue if its a -200 or a -300!

Hey matt.
I have done this for ya (lol)
BY’s 767 family is quite easy to tell what 767 it is!!
1. although you maynot be able to tell by the picture but the -300 is slighly longer and the -200 looks quite ‘stubby’ in comparrison
2. on the -300 the are 4 door exits down each side of the aircraft in comparrison to 2 doors and 2 overwing exits on the -200.

Hope this helps!!!

The 767-300 is quite noticably longer, Matt.

Have a look at the picture of the Delta 767-300 I posted today. See how much longer it appears than B767-200 OM-NSH in the background?

The A310 was one of my fabourite aircraft. I quite liked the 762 as well. I hate the 763, however.

Yes, but who wants a 767-400 apart from DL and CO? Answer: nobody 😛

Yes it became something of a white elephant as many customers opted for 772’s instead.

Surely, Boeing are still accepting orders for something as new as the 767-400 aren’t they?
