I would like to see the BY 767 back in business at Newcastle, it’s been a real miss this year in my opinion.

My god that aircraft will be well untilised, just about its only downtime of more than an hour is Sunday night!

I guess they’d choose to rotate aircraft fairly frequently (e.g. weekly) with lesser used 757s from MAN, LTN, LGW etc if it did use that particular schedule, otherwise it could get nightmarish in the middle of summer.

If it does replace one of the TCX 757’s, why hasn’t anyone mentioned a new route like Pisa? I’ve also heard that TCX are to take over BY’s Sharm El Sheik service in the summer. This means it will be flown on a Thursday morning when they would normally be flying to Arrecife on that morning. Now because they have two flights to Arrecife every Thursday it means that they still have the evening flight to do. Looking at that schedule for the MON A/C, they too also have an evening TCX flight, so I can’t see this happening. Let’s just see what happens eh?

According to PPrune the schedule is similar to what one of the TCX 757s does this year, so it could be replacing that?

I hope it’s true! That’ll be a first, Pisa. I wonder what the based aircaft will be?
