Over the past 2 weeks i have gone model crazy with the addition of 12! new ones to my collection.
But with the bargain prices i get them at, where i work, its hard to say no! 😀
from top to bottom:
1. Brand new release from Gemini jets – Fedex A310.
2. 00-0001 – Boeing 747-400 (AL-1 Airbourne Laser) of the USAF.
3. G-BDXD – BA 747-200 In the Blue Poole world tail.
4. G-BDXG – BA 747-200 in the best ever world tail (IMO) 😀
5. G-BHDI – Bcal DC-10.
6. G-CIVB – BA 747-400 – Chelsea Rose and the B. Asia Aways titles.
7. G-CIVP – BA 747-400 – Column.
8. G-EUPA – BA A319 – a mere £6.79 to me where i work. 😀
9. G-LYON – JMC DC-10 – Sadly i never got to see this aircraft when it was in service.
10. G-VFOX – the second VIR A346 to be released from Gemini jets, taking my VIR fleet to 5 aircraft now.

I’ve gotten two new ones: a huge Iberia B747-200 and probably right now the only 1:500 (or any scale) MEA B747-200 in Israel right now.

As for the props on the c130, there not 100% spot on but they aint bad either… its as good as Dragon will get i think. If you want decent (or mildy better IMO) go for GJ hercs. I havent seen any GJ hercs in the flesh, but the props look spot on on both of their current models. Im just not keen on the two GJ hercs though – colour/livery wise.
Yeah the modern prop blades on the new J series Hercs look a lot different to the older Hercs that feature in the Gemini releases. The Dragon blades look a bit too much like a food mixer (lol) I’ll wait for an RAF grey/green camouflage release hopefully with reg XV206 the first one I saw for real some 20 years ago.

Whoops, not G-DOCM, the Gemini 734 with the Egypt tail I mean (G-DOCT)
Got any more of those Big Bird, Blue Poole 742’s in your shop Andy, I should have got one when I had the chance. Just got the Sweden one for now, looking forward to the India tail shortly to be released, also the GJ Boeing 777 in the new KLM scheme and the Antonov 124 as well.
I’m catching you mind, should be on around 95 by the time my current orders turn up.

Superb additions Andy, tell me though… what do you think of the prop blades on the C130-J ? I can’t decide whether they look real or not ?
I’m expecting a BOAC 707, BA A319, BA 734 (G-DOCM), Northwest Orient 742 and DC-10, Airbus house colours A321 and Beluga next ?
