My only trip to LHR was a BA A319 and it was too cloudy to see anything! Plus we were stacked for about 4 or 5 holds!!

The first three shots give me a wonderfully great feeling for this was my very first ‘live’ glimps of London last October. I was awestruck! My lifetime wish had come true. I was actually over London on approach to a world renouned city…and airport.
Thank you very much for letting me remember my excitement. It was also my very first time to be outside of the United States.

Has anyone ordered from this website before, so I can be sure I will actually recieve my products? And are they secure?

The 10D looks very good. Does ‘body only’ mean you get everything except the lense? And what kind of lense is best for aviation photography (taking into account the restrictive viewing places these days?)

Sorry for so many questions but I know nothing about photography, and would love to start aviation photography!

Thanks,

Luke

I’ve ordered from them but only small things like flashcards and printer cartridges. No problems at all so far, I’ve not had call to order anything big like a 10D because I already have one, but other people’s experiences tell me they are fine.

For aviation you really want a lens that zooms into either 200mm, 300mm or 400mm, ideally starting from a wide end of around 70mm. Depends what you can afford but Canon do a cheap range and an expensive range as well. My 70-300mm lens was only about £200 or less, you could spend £8000 or more if you wanted too though.

And oh yes, ‘body only’ means you don’t get a lens with it.

I am definitely going to have to buy a better quality camera. I shall be overflying Greenland in a week or so. If the weather is clear the view of the enormous glaciers is fantastic.

Lot’s of nice discounted Canon cameras available now that newer versions are coming out. If you’re ever back in Guernsey Wys you might like to peruse some of the bargains at www.7dayshop.com

No, I’m currently doing my 20 sectors of line training. I have my 600 conversion next month as well.

and that, ladies and gentlemen, is why I hate cities!
Look at it! it oozes cramped conditions and congestion!

Brill pics though 🙂
