*Antonov AN 22!* You dont see that too often do ya! Loud propellers!!!
Also high up was a Avro RJ1OO in the Avro livery! well, it was in the livery that the RJX was in! 😎 Some good stuff!

Shows the difference from MAN to LHR.
The Lufthansa would be A321’s or A320’s.
The BA aircraft would be literally all sorts.
The Aer Lingus would be A320’s and A321’s.
I like MAN though. I need to make another visit sometime.

If there is a direct headwind of 30knots then yes the ground speed will decrease by 30 knots.
Only thing of interest I have seen today is a Cessna Soveriegn. This is a brand new Citation bizjet, on a sales tour of Europe. It made its first visit to Farnborough yesterday, and I think only came to Europe a week or two ago.

From my office window in Salford Quays I was able to watch the An22 all the way down the 24R approach.
Glorious!! 😀

Glad you saw the AN22, first visit to MAN I believe. The RJ100 you saw would have been G-TBAE, a BAe 146-100 that shuttles BAe Systems employees from Warton to Farnborough twice a day.
