G-DOCM

I went to GLA on Sunday for a little while but due to my disability (can’t walk too far but i stupidly walked ok almost crawled to the Fire gate from the swing bridge) where G-ARPP used to sit noticed that BA plane BOEING 737-436 Reg G-DOCM was sitting where was sitting here with no engines installed so my query to the forum is does anyone know why DOCM is sitting in this spot

Cheers

Jim

It’s reached the end of it’s lease period so they are basically giving it a service to comply with the terms of the lease. As far as I know it and another BA 734 will be going to new owners in the USA.

I should say it’s having an ‘End of Lease’ check to be more accurate.

It’s having a return to lessor check.

And what is a Return to Lessor Check?

Do you know if it will be a permanent fixture there like ARPP was Alan?

Thanks

It’s having a return to lessor check. Parking space outside BAMG is tighter now that they’ve built additional hard stands for T2, so they put it where you saw it for convenience.

I know BA service their 737’s in GLA, also BA are starting to retire a few 737’s from LGW, so this could be the end, or it might just have lost’s its Engines as they need a service?
