I like it BMused. Perhasp if you could ake the nose section also red and yellow, like following the curve coming from the back, then I would find it extremely awesome.

Nasir , maybe I’m the only one but I like them.

I like Sandy’s drawing. It’s simple yet captures the gold and reds of the flag. I’m working on the fuselage colors of my design. Look out for an update 🙂
I look forward to it 🙂

Thank you folks…. I don’t want to hijack Nasir’s post ;). Just wanted to show that Nasir came close to something I scribbled

Ugh no Sandy, why is Iberia in different colors? Like BERA or II has a specific meaning :s. And that crown on the tail makes it look like the most patriotistic airline ever 😀 The ones by Nasir look well, but the forward flag needs some work. It’s not straight enough.
You have a lot to learn about airline identities my friend. 😉
The Crown is merely a modification of the what they ALREADY use.
The “i”s are a different colour merely to stengthen the bond between the airline and its nationality. It also provides for a bit more colour on the forward fuselage, yet keeps the cost of the livery down 😉 Method to the “madness” you see.

It’s not the best we’ve seen from you Nasir, I like Sandy’s, that has class

Now that IS nice…

Not bad.
The old livery is tired and shows its age. It may be a classic, but its time to shed the old and bring in the new.
Though I must agree with the comments about the colour spill on the forward fuselage.
funny you should draw this, it resembles something I did for my contact who was at the time talking to Iberia.

I think I might well be the only one to actually like the current livery. They should not change it.

The tail looks fine but the top looks like I painted it! I’d love to see IB do something like Binter have done and get rid of the IB logo – it’s way too ’80s.
Would also like to see AZ, OA and TP revise their (slightly dated) liveries.

Well as a Spaniard I wish Iberia would revamp its livery. I find it terribly dated…
I’d agree with others that the job over the front/top is a bit in your face, but I very much like the tails! 😀

No neither am I, a little too flamboyant on the top, with it a bit bare on the bottom.
Nice work all the same 🙂

The tail is nice, but that spillage over the top of the aircraft just looks nasty.

Ooooh – I’m not sure about that at all…….
