What is a KLM 777 doing in Scotland?

Glasgow Prestwick is used fairly regulary by various a/c from various airlines for crew training, this KLM 777 had only been delivered a few days previous, here are a few more pics 😉

Hi Kaplan

Very nice photos would love to hear those props on that Russian A/c going at full throttle on take off.

BTW are you airside when taking your photos or just have a good zoom lens

Cheers

Not airside and not really a zoom lens, at PIK and GLA if you know where to go you don’t need them 🙂

Hi Ren

That’d be great as i’ve said brefore i’ve actually started to use my camcorder which has 500x zoom to film the aircraft and then later view it back and use photoshot to actually take the digital photos i want then transfer them to the computer thats what i used on the photos i showed the other day.

I know it’s not really photography but until i can get a digital camera but i’m affraid a new computer needs to come before a camera at the moment as i’m back to using an old and very slow computer because mine isn’t working again.

Anyway enough of me blabbing

Cheers

I think I’ve been round a good few of those GLA/PIK spots as well, found a nice new one at PIK the other week as well thanks to a mate down there.

I’ll make a point of showing you round them some day Jim seeing as your new to it all. And yes a decent zoom does the trick in most places around most airports.
