Concorde Tour

This made my holiday 🙂 Couldn’t stop cheesing, it’s great that they allow you to actually sit on the seats in the cabin and test the recline etc.
Even better that I managed to grap the pilot’s seat on the flight deck, life ambition was to fly Concorde, that is as close as I’ll ever come now! 😀
I took seat 3A in the cabin, where we were all informed Bill Clinton sat on the final flight. 🙂
The windows are so small it actually begins to feel quite claustraphobic if you suffer from that sort of thing, it didn’t help that they had no power sourse so the cabin was in darkness, and although it was daylight, the windows are so small that it remained quite gloomy in there.
Don’t like the slogan either. 😉 “Come and have a nosey”.
I think that the old lady deserves something more classy, and sosphisticated than that, after all she was the ultimate in exclusive air travel. 🙂
Even little things like being able to touch the tyres and imagine all the landings they had made I very much enjoyed.
I highly recommend it, and I don’t think your brother gave the cabin tour Matt, unless he is about 70 years old! 😮 😉 Does he ever do the introduction?
Anyway, the pics….Somebody forget to put the flash on in the flight deck photos! 😡 They are virtually impossible to make out. Oh well.
I particularly like the one with the contrails forming the Scottish Saltire against the clear blue sky. 🙂 How about the weather?! 😀
