A few pics taken at Kemble this afternoon:
Former Air Atlanta 747-200 TF-ATC not much longer for this world

Two former Meridiana BAe 146s in store – I-FLRE and I-FLRO

The three former Airtours / MyTravel DC-10-10s are also in store
Note G-DPSP at rear with Oriental Airways titles!!!

A Puma from Sierra Leone in one of the hangars
Behind it were two former Chilean Air Force Pumas (H-253 and H-255) too!!!

Another picture of the Airtours / MyTravel DC-10s as we taxi out

I-FLRE – the first of the two ex-Meridiana 146s parked since the airline introduced its A319s

I-FLRO – the other ex-Meridiana 146

One last look at former Air Atlanta 747-200 TF-ATC

Best,
Andy

I can’t see anything either.
As for the cost of the aircraft you’re talking about… didn’t someone say that MyTravel were trying to flog their DC-10s for just £250,000 each?

£5 – 10 million, really as much as that. Even if they arent airworthy and just going to be scrapped?

I think the reason is that these pictures were posted in July, and if they are linked from a website, the links expire after a while so they wont show.

Our of interest, how much would it cost to buy one of those DC10s or 747s?
Depends how many hours are on the airframe, but I guess at £5million – 10million, maybe upwards

I cant beleive its happened again!
Last week I stopped at Kemble and took some shots of the aircraft, and I sent them off to be developed and they should be back with all my RIAT pics tomorrow (hopefully) and youve beating me to it. Obviously mine arnt as close as yours but I missed out again!,
I say again, as it happened in ’03 when the Canada 3000 duo, MD10 and the Af were there. I had got beating to it by a few days then aswell
