There is a saying in aviation that when the weight of the paperwork matches the weight of the plane you are ready to go flying! The model in the picture is 1:120 so it is about 2 feet long so it gives you an idea of the scale!
Toulouse is an interesting place. Quite pretty in its own distinct way but the best bit must be the way you can sit outside a cafe with a drink watching the most stunning female world go by!
Rather dissappointingly Airbus have cancelled all tours of the production lines in July and August as it is the school holidays. Grrr…pathetic excuse!

I get the impression that moondance is on the TCX ( i may be wrong) so how is he getting the photos.
Errr Because he’s a pilot!
I’ve never actually found out what airline he works for…. Anyone know?

In a word, no, but this big b*gger came lumbering down the taxiway, then clawed its way into the skies.
LMAO…. love the description!

Oh happy days, back in 1973 i as a rather young 19 year old spent 6 weeks in that summer in Toulouse. At that time the pass time of sitting outside the bars watching the local females was known as Nipple watching.
Very innocent but highly enjoyable, not half!Have not been there since 1975— must have changed a bit.

Amazing , I could have run into you in Toulouse in 75

Strangely enough I never bored of watching the cut off T-shirts of the Club 18-30 girlies boarding on a remote stand on a Saturday night Ibiza!
Now there are pictures you never shared. 🙂

Great pictures Moondance. from the piloting perspective I don’t think there can be much better fun out there than hands on charter work. Visual circling in Greek or Turkish valleys will never be boring. I took a shot of three cruising airliners over GLA the other day, first time I’ve seen three so close I have to say. Two were going north west and the other was going south east. I’ll post the pics later.

In that first one, are you at a low alt (climbing descending perhaps) or is that cloud very high?
