Tonight the series concentrates on a United Airlines 747-200 bound for Auckland New Zealand in 1989. Its Cargo door flapped open during cruise and tore a large section of the fuselage skin off as it seperated from the airframe.
A few people died, an engine failed due to ingestion of debris and pax (grizzly or what!)
Looks to be an interesting show 🙂

Yes we had a thread on it search for it.
With regards to this programme (Which was very interesting by the way), it seems amazing that a couple of ‘ordinary’ people could find what the reason for the crash was, yet the people who were paid to try and find the reason got it wrong!
Yet again this happened because of airlines puttting profits before safety.

It is a repeat, a family try to find out what happened to there son, as his body was not found (or something like that) the NTSB have none of it, but the father keeps on fighting. (don’t hold me to that its very foggy in my mind)

I have a funny feeling that this one may be a repeat. A good show nonetheless.
Does it focus on particularly one family’s fight for justice?

I believe 9 was the death toll, and something like only seven bodies were found, authrorities assumed that 2 people were killed in the engine.
