Shot these in Germany, showing some retired airframes. The Concorde on show is the one I made, in 1994,my sole supersonic flight in, from AMS to CDG. It was a joyflight for those who wanted to fly supersonic. the oneway ticket was around 450 pst, but I was lucky, as 1 passenger didn’t show up, although he paid, the organisation organising the trip gave me his ticket for free (or better said in exchanche for a photo report of the trip ). Excellent pics… That place, along with Speir (sp?) is definitely on my hit list. Now, if only I could get a cheap flight to Frankfurt…
And no thank you, I said FRANKFURT, not Hhan!

I still can’t decide whether or not I like the Sinsheim’s approach to displaying aircraft?
Part of me thinks, “Nice novel display technique” another part thinks “two big planes on top of an Ikea showroom” ?
I hate to think what might happen to those former SST’s in the event of a major hurricane ??? 😮

You can go inside a JU-52, DC-3, IL-18, Viscount , Concorde, TU-134, IL-14 and TU-144. Half an hour down the highway there is another museum and you can go inside an AN-22, Boeing 747 (50 mtrs high up in the air you can walk over the wing, scarry but interesting), Mercure, FW614, Dakota, Noratlas, AN26 (or 24) and some smaller types . Very nice.
I notice the steps going up to the Air France Concorde. Are the public allowed to go inside, because that aircraft doesn’t look too safe, balancing on just a few poles?
