Theyll provide a evening connection from SNN-DUB as Aer Lingus have abandoned domestic flights. They only fly DUB-SNN because they have to.

Hope EU Jet succeed from Manston, you do have to wonder though, with Ryanair having such massive presence at STN and Easy at LGW/LTN/STN.

Good luck to them though.

Gatwick is a lot nearer by road distance but this relies on the M23/25 being ‘clear’. I have taken 2 hours to get from North Kent to Gatwick in a rush hour. 🙁

That 2.5 hours time is quoted from the EU Jet website. Just wondering how far Manston would be from Bromley in Kent as I sometimes have to work there. Normally fly to Gatwick and drive a hire car up to Kent.

Sometimes (certainly in the past) A cruise ship charter flight has landed there and the passengers bussed to Dover. Although Manston in some distance from London, it is now connected to a dual carriageway which runs all the way from Blackheath in East London to Manston. I live 50 miles from Manston on this road and it takes less than an hour. The Medway towns, Canterbury and the Kent coastal towns are all less than an hours drive from Manston.

72 miles East and 2.5 hours drive from London Steve.

Possibly a good port of call for the cross channel ferries to France ?
