My upcoming EasyJet flight

Well just booked my first EasyJ :p et flight, will be travelling to Cologne from Liverpool on the 17th July for a few days only £45 return (lads night away). I am looking forward to this as this will be my first Loco flight, anybody know what I type of 737 I will be on, hope it’s a NG of maybe an A319.
Also I believe that it’s a free for all as no seats are given when checking in. what are the beast seats and how do I make sure we get them.

None of those on the 7e7 then? 😉

Go on Sandy, open your mind, I dare you. There really is a world outside Seattle! 😀

plenty of plastic on existing Boeing aircraft too 😉
Why are you regarding every post I make as Anti-airbus? There wasn’t even a hint of that here.

I agree with keeping the original spelling of place names such as Köln, München etc, but it’s not just the english language that is guilty of it, In Dutch, London becomes Londen and Paris becomes Parijs, in Spanish and French, London becomes Londres and Edinburgh becomes Edimburgo in Spanish – where did that ‘m’ come from!!??

It comes from Edimbourg – trust the French  Bit like Hamburgo, Viena, Estocolmo, Varsovia, Moscu…

Even more bizzarely, Birmingham frequently becomes Birminghan in Spanish and New York is Nueva York (not as bad as Nova Iorque in Portuguese though)

And what of Λονδίνο or Μάντσεστερ? – it’s all Greek to me 😀

And just to really confuse people, the Italian for ‘Munich’ is ‘Monaco’. Bejaysus.

(Monaco in Monte Carlo is ‘La Monaco’ in Italian)

Isn’t it even more annoying, Sandy, that Köln Airport got the code CGN – presumably from the English spelling?

Nothing anyone can do about it, I think Sandy was just moaning about the British tendency to change place names to “English” sounding ones!
