Does anyone know if G-VCAT was everused by EAL?

There was one-I presume this one- that was leased out to Garuda I think it was. That’s the only service it performed, so it didn’t operate for EAL themsleves.
I saw a EAL 732 at BHX last week. It had Xerox titles on the side of it.

Yep, as far as I know the 737-200s are still operating a limited number of flights and some for Palmair.

Anyone any idea who the two 747-200s are operating for?

Although I am sure that’s correct, I did see an ex-VS bird working for Air Atlantique doing some Haji flights. It still had the Odyessey system fitted and the VS seats.

Yes, but did this biurd spend any length of time in the desert or did Atlantique take it as soon as VS retired it?

that will have been removed prior to retirement anyway.

you don’t send a plane off to the desert with a fully equipped IFE unless you know its coming back soon, to your fleet that is.

Sad to see G-VCAT & G-VRUM are not being utilised by anyone. They have Virgin’s superb Odyessey entertainment system aswell!!

When did G-BDXH leave Filton then? When i saw her a few weeks ago, it had no engines on it at all.

Also, G-BDXE is no longer at Bournemouth, its stored out in, SSA Salvador, BA [Deputado Luis Eduardo Magalhaes], Brasil. Where i think it awaits a new owner.

they’re probably being operated by other operators. Many of EAL’s fleet were perfectly airworthy. And as EAL are desperate for money,.. well their accountants are, they no doubt sold most the fleet quickly
