SNBA diverts flights to Kinshasa

SN Brussels Airlines is diverting it’s flights to Kinshasa in the emocratic Republic of Congo. It currently operates to the Congolese capital three times a week, and is now replacing the flights by flying to Douala, the biggest city in Cameroon.

Forgot to say why: because of the recent unrests in the country. Rebels have taken over a town. The roads from the airport to the city are blocked. Burning cars etc.

Bukavu has been taken over by rebels. Crisis meeting with Snba. PAssengers stranded. People arriving in Kinshasa unable to reach town 12 hours later, the airport is blocked.
