Dont really know if anyone can shed any light on this, but less than 2 minutes ago, two Sikorsky S76 helicopters flew over here together, one i think was G-BYOM (not sure – was navy blue with white line down fuslage – which BYOM looks like) the other had a red belly, with red lines above that and a grey top, looked like it had a VP reg on it.
Both were flying south/south west way. Came from the north, from LHR/Londonish sorta way.
If anyone can help that would be great. 🙂

Ah yes I had forgotten all about the derby.
Cheers Rob.

Its all to do with the horse racing, its the Derby tomorrow and Royal Ascot in a couple of weeks. Very nice An74 in Farnborough on a horse charter, should be back tomorrow.

Cheers for that Rob, i thought it was most likely BNM. I see shes undergone a paint job in the last frew months, now grey/silver and red, as opposed to white with a red stripe. I just thought it was unusual to see them flying side by side. They come over everyday but at seperate times.
G-BYOM and N109TF having been flying backwards and forwards over here non-stop all day today.

Sounds like VP-BNM which frequents Farnborough a lot, its a dark red but otherwise as you describe. I just wish they would not wake me up early in the morning coming out of Blackbushe!
