Edinburgh Yesterday

Had to go pick up a friend from the airport yesterday.
I arrived a little early with the intention of taking a few snaps.

Here’s what I saw 🙂

The BA 757 is not very good as I cut the tail off, but I’ve included it anyway as I managed to capture the tire smoke upon touchdown.

An F70 eh! 🙂 So EDI gets Fokker 70s, Fokker 100s and B737s from KLM 🙂

It’s a Fokker alright, most likely a F100 of KLM! You can tell by the flap fairing!

it is indeed to klm Fokker, F70 to be precise

What? The very first pic with the BA757 touching down. You can see a wing of a holding aircraft, and to me it doesn’t look like a t-tail or a high-mounted wing!

Are you sure? It looks like a Fokker, if that is a high mounted wing, then I’m a midget!!

What’s the wing holding in the first pic? Is it a Fukker, sorry typo, Fokker?

Err…it’s got a T-tail and a high-mounted wing.

My guess would be a DHC-8 or an ATR 42/72, or maybe a Dornier 328 of Scot Airways.

Nice! I love it when it’s like that! But the times I’ve been the over the past……ages! :p I’ve not seen anything, movements have been steady but not like that. Shame you didn’t get a pic of the queue! 🙂

Looks relatively busy while you were there, queues in every photo. 🙂
