How are TK on servcice. My friend asked me, he is flying Tel Aviv-Istanbul-Tokyo roundtrip with them.

It depends on what route you are flying, I guess.. They are more generous on international flights.
When i flew a couple of times from ORD to IST, i received free socks,toothbrush etc. In between meals, they have snacks. Although I should say that the A 340 fleet is aging and need new remodeling of the interior. The food is better than average, it really depends of where you are coming from, for example a flight from GVA to IST will be better accompanied than from Tel-aviv for example. For me, being able to read 10 different newspapers till I got home was more welcoming than personal Tv’s. The flight attendants are O.K as ong as you are not Turkish. I just remember they had this “terminatrice” look on their face everytime I asked for something, but they are better with foreigners definetely. I’am sure theyhave better stuff for the Tokyo flight.
