In which forum does airline history belong?

Since there is an Historic aviation forum, this question might be quite relevant…

You might have noticed that most of my postings concern aircraft older than 25 years and as such they, at least in my eyes, qualify as “historic”.

The description for this forum says:

Commercial Aviation
A forum to discuss the latest developments in the commercial market, including airline and airport news, photography, airport viewing and general topical aviation issues.

whereas that other forum says:

Historic Aviation
Discuss all aspects of our aviation heritage and preservation scene, including airshows, museums and restorations.

Sooo… where do my posts belong? Here in the airline forum, or in the historical forum? It seems to me that most discussions in the historical forum revolves around airshows, Spitfires and other beautiful, but military, subjects normally covered by FlyPast.

Any ideas? If this is this the Airlinerworld forum with everything that’s covered in the magazine, I’m very satisfied. I drool over those photographic spreads of Dakar Airport in 1974, Gatwick in 1972 and such… 😀

Alright then, just as I suspected. Standby for even more ramblings about registrations noone remembers, and detailed info about SAS and its ancient history!

Drinks all round! 😉

I totally agree with you Allen, Keep posting about Airline Historyas it has plenty to do with Commercial Aviation of the past.

Personally I’d rarther see that kind of stuff on the commercial forum as it’s of interest to us commercial fans.

I find the Historic Forum to be a little slanted towards the historic military side of things than commercial. There is a slight degree of commercial interest in there but I think in the main it’s a military forum.
