After hearing news that I may be being made redundant from work sometime in the next 2 months I decided to spend an hour or so yesterday checking out some of the deals being offered by the low-cost airlines from Newcastle over the summer. The result being three bargain basement bookings with the total price being less than 40 quid!!!
I managed to book my first leg (Newcastle->Dublin with Ryanair) for a penny paying approx 11quid taxes, my second leg (Dublin->Bristol also with Ryanair) cost me a grand total of one cent plus taxes and my third leg (Bristol->Newcastle with easyJet) cost me minus £2.50 – making me pay less than a tenner in tax. Its what i call a bargain day out – could easily spend more than that hitting a few shops and the pub in an hour or two!
A few questions I guess;
What will the aircraft types be for each leg?
How user friendly are Bristol and Dublin Airports for travel and for spotters??
Anyone else done a mini-uk tour???
Cheers,
LGKR

Ryanair only fly 200s into BRS – my mate there has seen alot of special schemes aswell.

Excellent prices! You can be sure to get at least one 737-200 with Ryanair!
Thats what I’m hoping for T5 – believe the -200’s are the regular FR aircraft at NCL although I’m not too sure about the BRS runs. The -800’s are cool aswell though, would be over the moon with one of the newbies in the newer livery!!!
cheers,
