Remember Kenya is on a much increased security alert at the moment due to the recent-ish bombings, and if its anything like Lagos, well you only need to watch Lagos Airport on TV!

Don’t expect too much fences in Africa! 🙂 But be sure that there are no viewing facilities. If you want to go to the runway beginning or ending, the best option is probably hiring a car and ask local predestrians or search it yourself.

I am guessing just the airport and nothing else.
