I was wondering if anyone knows which is or are the top most money makers in the airline industry.My bet is on Emirates.Look at their massive shopping spree last year for all those Airbuses and 777s.I think in the next few years Emirates will be clearly a force to be reckoned with worldwide.

Singapore Airlines was (or is it still?) doing very good business. Their stocks have the record of value on airlines.

Emirates is a rich airlines due to its finding from the back i think. And yes they are doing well from there routes too.

Emirates certainly seem to be making ambitious moves right now. I just hope it doesn’t backfire on them as these aggressive business accelerations can sometimes do ?

I have no idea about profitability of Airlines. I know all the U.S. majors have been losing bigtime the last few years. I would think that EK is doing pretty well, seeing as they are expanding and purchasing new and used aircraft on a regular basis.
