just announced on BBC Look North Local News this evening is that
Thomsonsfly.com are to base upto 4 Boeing 737 aircraft at Finningley
from Next summer flights are to go on sale near christmas.

Apparantly also, Thomson are planning to base a 757-200 to operate charter flights from Summer 2005. Nice to see that they have some dedication to Finningley, unlike at LBA where they dont seem to have their heart fully in it. I can see the rumours about Monarch basing a 757 to operate Thomson flights coming to fruit now.

Thats great news for Finningley. Despite living so close to LBA. which Finningley will be a major compeitior to I still want to see it do well. Have you heard Finningleys full name? Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield International Airport!
