I was at CDG awaiting my flight to BHX today (13-4-4) when at approx 10-40am we were moved away from the futuristic departure lounge in terminal 2F.
After approx 10 minues and numerous police on the scene there were 2 loud whistles followed by a large explosion. I presume everything was OK because 15-20 minutes later everybody was allowed to continue back into the lounge.
Quite scarey, especially with the wife and kids but we eventually arrived back safely and on time…

It happens almost every day in Paris. Both ORY and CDG have this policy. Any unattended luggage is distroyed.
My concern is that they never tell the people that this is gonna happen. Since the explosion is quite loud , it’s a bit scary.

No, I presume it was a suspect package and was dealt with in the correct way.
