Taiwan’s second-largest carrier, will buy 15 passenger aircraft from Boeing Co worth around US$3 billion
The Chinese language Economic Daily News quoted an unidentified industry source as saying EVA would buy seven Boeing aircraft, including three 777-200LRs and four 777-300ERs, with options for eight more.
The paper quoted the source as saying EVA should sign the contract with Boeing no later than the end of April. However, the paper said EVA declined to confirm or comment on the report.
