VH-QPC Rotating off rwy 16R during a foggy morning. Earlier, the fog was much thicker and many flights were diverted to Melbourne and Brisbane, with some like UA 744 and QF 744 to Canberra.

Nice surprises for those spotters in Canberra. What would they do for the pax on those flights going to SYD, or the ones continuing on to MEL on the UA flight even? Seeing as I’ve done that flight many times, I would hate to have to take a bus or something back to SYD after 14 hours across the Pacific.
