That is what I mean. AF has adopted the eTicket 1à years ago now. That’s easy and convenient.
However I remember one day they had a major computer failure and only the paper tickets owner were able to check in… :rolleyes:

I totally agree with Greekdude, but i must say i think a $55 surcharge is a bit over the top

Not at all. Paper tickets are obsolete, anyway. I’ve been using E-tickets for years now. I still see a lot of these foreign pax using these paper tickets that have multiple red carbon sheets on them, and I just laugh. Paper tickets need to be done away with, completely. As it is, I’m a little peeved because I am being issued a paper ticket on my upcoming ONT-AMS trip because 1 of the 8 segments is operated by Singapore Airlines. Apparantly SQ has not adopted the e-ticket as of yet, therefore United had to issue a paper ticket to me in order to accomodate them.
