A bit to your lesft in that picture over the far side you can see a brown fence.I usually pop my head over that.there is things to stand on and good photo oppourtuintys. Its great for planes taxiing to 10 and planes taxing to the terminal after landing on 28.

I think we’re talking about different spots here Shamrock ? If you can imagine where I took the above picture from, is your spot further left of that ?

Unfortunatley some people take it upon themselves to dump their crap there.
Some people also insist on parking their cars in front of you, thinking that they have priority on the little pile of mud! 😀

That seems a good spot

Is that further up the road from the spot we were at in February, the one with the muddy mound and burger van ?

Dont bet on seeing the whole Aer Lingus fleet in Dublin on any one day because they also operate out of Cork and Shannon but any plane in Shannon usually turns up in Dublin.the spot you guys are on about I absoululey hate.I go to the opposits side near the control tower near the boot in area.handy if you want a drink. The fence does get in the way but I am quite tall so its easy.Unfortunatley some people take it upon themselves to dump their crap there.

I like Dublin – i presume the main reason being it is cheap to get to and isw a change of scenery. If you have the whole EI and RYR B732 fleet it is still a good visit, but if you need any of the aformentioned it will be your mecca!

It would seem that Dublin Airport does not have any facilities set asied by the airport for people like us to watch what’s going on, but paralell to the runway is a which provides exceptional, up-close photo opportunities and viewing, with only a fence in the way.
The aircraft are mostly smaller jets. The Aer Lingus A330s are the highlight of the day, but don’t come or go too often.
If you like Ryanair, then this is the place for you… heaps of -200 and -800 series aircraft to see.
