New Irish Airline – JetGreen!

There is to be a new Irish “low cost full service” airline – JetGreen.

JetGreen is Ireland’s new and innovative carrier. We aim to be the finest, most stylish low fare, low cost and high service carrier. Flying from Dublin to Malaga and Alicante, Jet Green intends to expand to all holiday hot spots and major E.U. cities soon.

To celebrate our launch we will be offering 12 seats on every flight for 1 Euro, including all taxes, fees and charges.

JetGreen, the low cost operator with all the frills of yesteryear, delivered at the value people expect today. More leg room, in flight entertainment, good complimentary food, airbridges to protect you from the weather, choice of seat and for that extra bit of luxury…
JetGreen offers the world’s first ‘Low-Cost’ First Class service. This means our customers get luxury flights at great prices. JetGreen is the low cost operator with a high service ethos.

Unusually for a low cost operator JetGreen offers a frequent flyers program, which we call EverGreen and a Kids club we call GreenBean.

JetGreen also offer unbeatable car hire, great hotels and hostels at your destination, and all important travel insurance.

(That was from the about us section on the website – http://www.jetgreen.com)

Here is a photo of the airline (Boeing 757 – 200 aircraft!)

What do you think? Im not so sure about this airline – looks like another Fresh Aer potential? And its been proven in the business that you cant have a low cost airline but with full service – its very rare for airlines like this to survive

I like that livery, like the way it makes the irish flag on the tail.

There is a tie-up with the formerley proposed Freshaer here, so don’t hold your breath.

They will not appear in my listings as yet!!

Nope never had chance to experience them. Just if you look in Europe, bargain basement airlines like EZY and Ryanair have flourished where as airlines like Now and FreshAer havent even got off the ground.

I love the livery! Hope they succeed but cant really see it.. All the low cost airlines offering ‘better’ service either fail to get off the ground or dont last very long.

Low cost=Low service
High cost=High service
Low cost=High service=1 bankrubt airline
High cost=Low service=No passengers=another bankrubt airline.
