Its the same god damn scheme, it looks the same on ANY aicraft, fresh and clean.

Believe it or not they are actually saving money. They’re only re-painting the planes after they’ve been in for things such as maintenance checks, and rather than spending money on all those dark colours they are replacing it with a mainly ‘euro-white’ scheme instead.

The reason they changed the livery was because the old one was too expensive to paint. This new one is much much cheaper. They are only due to repaint about 20 planes this year and that is when they go into maintenance and need repainting anyway.

It looks a lot nicer in the flesh. The 777 at LHR really stood out yesterday, seems a lot more noticeable then the previous one.
