Went up to London today to see HMS Ark Royal moored in Grenwich. On the way i stopped off at LCY. Not much in, only 2 pics to be had, and they look far away, as i only had my digicam with me.

The above is all that was in. Later on in the afternoon, after seeing the Ark Royal, took a trip up to the HMS Belfast/Tower Brigde area, and for a brief moment had a break in the clouds, which allowed me to see JA8962 of ANA in the Pokemon livery. 🙂
Hope this works….

never been to LCY – Hopefully one day i will (preferably by air!)
D-CPRX, This aircraft is 95% of the time the team aircraft for Liverpool FC to their away matches – any ideas why this one in particular? Special VIP interior or anything?

I thought that Jetmagic had certified the type for just a couple of days.

Not sure what you mean by a steeper approach, both have to follow the same 5.5 degree approach course. They are both about as noisy as each other on finals and on takeoff.

i suppose the ‘146 has a steeper approach then the ‘145. Therefore it is more quiet for the neighbours.

BAe 146s have far superior STOL capabilities to ERJ135s and ERJ145s.

Luxair have no ERJ135s, only 145s which can’t operate into LCY.

new route for them usually use thier Erj 135’s.
The airline uses thier (or will do) 737-500’s into Manchester

When did Luxair start flying to LCY? The job I had in England was in the approach for LCY and I never seen one fly over.
