How does a free PPL sound to you?
Page 100 in the current Flight International has the details of a scholarship that will provide a successful applicant with a full JAA PPL at no cost. Details can also be found at
I’d love it if one of our forum members could benefit from this.

Wannabe – I think in the long term it will show that your aviation interest has been long term and not just a whymsical flash in the pan. Bookmark this website as every year in January the offer up various scholarships. Even if you can’t do it this year you can always try in years to come.

Ahh shame I’m not a couple of years older. However, we get lots of these oppurtunities at Air Cadets, and so hopefully I might be lucky nearer to the time. Wys, you mentioned in another thread about going to ATC, how good does it really look on a CV?
