Andrew and I have just spent lots on ebay.com and are having 5 models between us shipped over.
We are each getting a BA 747 double, each with a different world tail and Andrew has opted for a Saudi Arabian L-1011 Tristar.
The BA 747s worked out to be very cheap. Gemini Jets and each set of two cost about £26. 😀
I’ve also got my Herpa Wings China Airlines 747-400 (1:500) due in the coming days!

Great stuff Allen. Love the Laker and BCal DC-10 pic. On a lighter note got my Air Atlanta Tristar Push-fit model off of Ebay. What a beaut!:)

It’s just my window frame and the models are on the window ledge. Not black but a kind of heavy teak wooden finish. As for the Laker DC-10, you can still get it from most dealers for around £20 or so.

Im all pleased as i got my first Geminis!
Two Virgin Special Edition TIn Box ones sold onboard. a 747-400 ( G-VILP) and a Airbus A340-600 (G-VOGE)
Both limited editions and sent off for concorde. Ill get some pics soon of them
