Hi folks,
Emirates announced a second daily A330 service BHX-DXB flight a while ago, then recently said they would be suspending the launch of the second service.
Now, its been revealed that are to start bring 777’s into BHX instead. It will be great to see 777’s operating into BHX daily!

Galdri.
You’re right, I may be wrong and often am. 😮 But this time I’m not. It has been a 757 service for at least the last year. I think I read somewhere that Continental had difficulties using larger models of 767 at BHX so settled for a 757. The second 757 service is to boost capacity over the summer months.

they’ll be flying EDI – Newark soon enough, tis only an extra 100/200 miles on the clock.

Kev,
You must surely mean a 767 on the Continental service. I don’t think the 75 has the range to fly BHX to Newark. Could be wrong though;) 😀

It’s a bit disappointing really. I would have preferred to see two A330’s per day than a single 777. Incidentally, Continental are set to offer a second daily 757 service to Newark from June. It will operate for about three monthe before reverting to a single daily 757 service.
