According to Jethros G-CELY is due for Jet2. Could this be the Icelandic a/c re-registered or a completely new a/c which means they must be planning pretty major expansion?

Yeah EGNM, I didnt know about this a/c until I read about it on Pprune last night. They should definitly do that until they get a good few routes going and need another a/c. They could paint it up in the Jet2 colours and use it for pax and freight.

LBARULES – I can see what you mean, but why not use the QC that channex have based over there for some flights during the day? It would make sense to do so when it changes to a Channex owned aircraft instead of the leased TF-ELMA which does the evening BFS-LPL-BFS-EMA-BFS postal run, which stars at about 19.30 each evening, so as long as the aircraft is ready for the P.O. at 18.30 they can get some daytime flying out of the airframe – as i keep saying, aircraft don’t earn money sat on the ground!

The a/c wouldnt be based for two routes The LBA-BFS flight would surely be operated by the current LBA based a/cs? Otherwise that would mean a change in schedule… Nothing about it on the timetable. If their basing an a/c more routes MUST be to come surely.

A Barcelona route is guarenteed to do well in Norn Iron as there is such a demand charters have been brough in for the route but with ****e charter airlines (not naming names) but the ones that one friend smelt **** all thru the flight in the cabin :S

Great news for BFS and Jet2. This time next year I can see the amount of flights from BFS been nearly the same as LBA. Just hope they keep expanding at LBA. Does this mean they are getting another 733 or taking one from LBA? I dont think it will be long before the likes of AGP,ALC are operated by them from BFS.
